Scope
GRC / GRG
The Diriyah development required full alignment with the historic Najdi architectural language, with every element reflecting authentic textures, proportions and forms. Our scope covered GRC and GRG works across Zallal, Bujairi and Samhan, engineered to replicate traditional aesthetics while meeting modern performance standards through controlled detailing and precise material accuracy.
Across all precincts, complex profiles, deep recesses and exact geometric transitions demanded disciplined fabrication and installation. Through structured planning and controlled production workflows, we delivered a cohesive heritage inspired package that supports Diriyah’s cultural identity with consistent quality and architectural precision.

Challenges
Re-imagination of the iconic and historic najdi style architecture posed many challenges:
- The heritage design requirements demanded strict control of geometry, texture, and finish, with continuous coordination to ensure every GRG and GRC element aligned with Najdi architectural guidelines.
- Large volumes of detailed components required consistent mould control, calibrated finishes, and precise installation to maintain uniformity across high visibility zones in Bujairi and Samhan.
- Strict milestone driven schedules required steady production cycles and daily coordination to maintain uninterrupted progress across all precincts.

Our Solutions
Technical Approach
- A full design to production workflow was developed to translate heritage guidelines into engineered GRG and GRC systems, including standardized mould sets, controlled texture applications, and concealed reinforcement for durability and aesthetics.
- Close coordination with architects ensured accurate proportions, detailing, and light behavior across all components while maintaining modern performance requirements.
Execution
- Production and installation were synchronized across all precincts, with teams trained on heritage finishing requirements to ensure consistent alignment, joint control, and surface continuity in high visibility areas.
- The outcome; a cohesive architectural package that reinforces the cultural identity of modern Diriyah while preserving the heritage principles that define the site.
