Scope
GRC / GRP
The King Fahad Grand Mosque in Uyun Al Juwa was designed as a contemporary expression of Madinah Haram's architecture. The scope required recreating its geometric identity and ornamental detailing through disciplined research, precise pattern development, and full architectural coordination to ensure historical authenticity within a modern construction framework.
Delivered under a compressed schedule, the project progressed through parallel design, mould development, and production workflows. GRC and GRP formed the core material systems, engineered for durability and visual fidelity. The result is a refined, modern interpretation of a heritage-inspired mosque, executed with precision and cultural clarity.

Challenges
The project required a high level of architectural rigor and methodological discipline:
Reinterpreting the complex geometries and ornamental language of the Madinah Haram required extensive architectural research and precise pattern development.
Aligning historic detailing with modern structural, manufacturing, and installation standards demanded rigorous multidisciplinary coordination.
Delivering the project within an accelerated schedule required tightly managed parallel workflows across design, mould fabrication, and production.

Our Solutions
Technical Approach
Developed a complete architectural design package incorporating historically accurate Islamic geometry and proportion systems.
Engineered GRC and GRP elements to faithfully reproduce ornamental features while ensuring structural integrity and long-term durability.Integrated glass and stainless-steel components into the architectural vocabulary without compromising the mosque’s heritage-inspired identity.
Applied rigorous detailing standards to ensure fabrication compatibility and efficient installation.
Execution
Implemented an accelerated design-to-production workflow that allowed simultaneous development of drawings, moulds, and material production.
Coordinated closely with fabrication teams to ensure precision in pattern reproduction, curvature, and ornamental depth.
Executed installation sequencing to align with the compressed schedule while maintaining quality and uniformity across all architectural elements.
